Some Beautiful News

Atromerius 2 (Oil on Canvas, 24 x 30 inches, 2025)

I’m very pleased to share something that means a great deal to me—both personally and artistically.

My painting Atromerius 2 (Oil on Canvas, 24 x 30 inches, 2025) has been acquired by the Official Residences Crown Collection, part of the holdings of Canada’s National Capital Commission (NCC).

It’s difficult to describe what this means. The Crown Collection preserves a living archive of Canadian culture in art, furnishings, and objects that speak to who we are as a people and a place. To know that my work now lives among those pieces is humbling, surreal, and deeply affirming. My sincere thanks to the NCC for this honour, and to Sivarulrasa Gallery for their steadfast support. This moment would not have happened without them.

I also want to thank each of you who has followed, collected, shared kind words, or simply paused to notice. It’s your presence, quiet or loud, that makes this work feel meaningful.

And there’s more to look forward to.

This summer, I’ll be one of the featured artists in Bloom, a new exhibition opening July 26, 2025 at Sivarulrasa Gallery. The show brings together work that pulses with seasonal energy of growth, radiance, wildness, and return. It runs through August 29, and I’d love to see you there if you're in the Ottawa Valley.
